With its DP1.4 DSC video compression technology, this adapter is able to convert DP1.4 video signals to HDMI™, supporting video display resolutions up to 8K (7680 x 4320)@60Hz ** and creating life like colors and movements with HDR giving users the ultimate visual experience. The Adapter does NOT need an external power cable.

This adapter will function with lower specifications GPU’s, be aware performance will be reduced due to the specifications of that GPU !!
Functionality is also dependent on the HDMI™ M/M cable used. In combination with this CAC-1088 adapter, we advise using HDMI™ Male/Male cable of 28AWG Quality or above, like the Club 3D CAC-1371 or CAC-1373 up to 3m/9.84ft max. !
